Creating Directory on a Different Server

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a way to create a folder on a seperate server to the one that the web application is using. I have had a look around for a solution but have been unable to find one.

Basically, we have two servers, one which contains the website and one which contains the data. We need to create a folder on the data server when the user clicks a button on the website server.

I am familiar with using Directory.CreateDirectory(folderPath); as this is what I have been using through testing on my local machine, it works fine when creating folders on the c:. I was hoping that this could be changed to create the folder on a test server but get the error:

Could not find a part of the path 'F:\.

I have mapped the test server to this drive.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
