asp.net: changing Color Of row

750 Expert 512MB
i wanna change the color of gridview on RowDeleteing not on RowDatabound....
is there a way i can do this.... ?? THe issue is the specified row shows some process on remote mac.... so a message is sent for "killing" the process... So meanwhile i wanna change the color to red.... how can i achieve this?

I'm not sure what you are trying to do.
What I envision happening is you let the user "delete" the row and you want to change the colour of that row to red. But th Actual delete happens at a later time...
Is that correct?

When are you wanting to display the row in red? Are you deleting row selections via textboxes or are you using another way to find selected rows for deletion?

This site may help you.

I got autoGenerate del button enabled.... on click on delete button ...the selected row is not deleted.... that is the row remains there...However i wanna show that particular row in red.... so that user knows... that he clicked "this" row...

wat i was doin is : the grid shows processes from remote PC... and i have dynamically binded grid .... I created DAtatable then datacolumns ..gave columns name then created rows... then filled the dataset to table.... So there is no database here.... I cant just fire a delete query and databind again...

One more thing... can i just delete a row from dataset ?(incase i have done dynamically. creating table then binding)
