How to use On Click Event of command button

Can some one just tell me out
how can i use onclick event
actual i m makin a library management system
so i need to make a procedure that is called on clickin a button
How To make procedure that inserts data into three tables nd deletes a data 4rm one table when the DBA clicks a button
so just give me a code or syntax of makin a procedure in ASP and call it by using on click event of command button

Hi there,

Can you please clarify whether your question is for ASP.NET or classic ASP using VBScript? I have moved your question to the .NET Forum for the time being as using the OnClick attribute is an attribute normally used in ASP.NET.
