Supporting XP Operating system

Hi:
I heard from a friend that Microsoft will no longer support XP.

There is a sign-up page for those people who still use it and would like MS
to continue supporting it.

I don't know if this is proper for me to do this on this board, however, I
don't know where else to go. I have supplied the link if anyone here would
like to ask MS to continue supporting XP. THanks.

An XP group would be better.

MS stops supporting all it's operating systems eventually
there is nothing new there.

It is not "no longer support" XP, it is "no longer sell" XP. Support will be
continue for years to come (don't know when, though).

Windows XP support was original intended to continue until late 2008. As
the Windows Vista rollout didn't go as quick as they hoped for, the
support for windows xp currently is until 2014. (Although I guess
microsoft will shorten that period for non business users as Vista gets
a bigger market share)
