Jumbled Picures and names in My Pictures Folder

I have scanned 80 old photographs to a new folder in My Pictures and named
them all accordingley.Without apparent input from me they are now completely
jumbled up.The names no longer correlate to the relevent photos and some are
missing and some are duplicated. Did I do something ? And more
importantly,can I do something to get them back to the original state - or
has all that work gone down the tubes !

Wrong newsgroup. Sounds like you want a Windows XP group.

I am not an expert on the web-based newsreader. But if you go to

<http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx>

you should see a link thats says "Getting Started With the Web-Based
Newsreader."

But anyway, the section you want may be English\Windows\Windows XP\Photos.

But I would advise you to read these newsgroups using a proper
newsreader, such as the one in Outlook Express.
