System Restart

When I am asked to resart and i click yes the system shuts down and i am left
with a black screen with a flashing cursor.
the system wont start up frm the powerbutton i have to take the battery out
and then press the power buttn any ideas?

My idea is for you to post your question to a newsgroup with "Windows" in
the description, rather than a .Net programming newsgroup.
