Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000 v2.0

I am having problems getting the keyboard to work. When I load the program I
get the message KBDHID.SYS on Windows driver cabinet is needed. A window
comes up with a i386 driver to install, however when I click ok nothing
happens, when I click cancel the rest of the program loads. I am running a
Windows XP Home edition system 32.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
