What do you mean by "handle"?

It works the same was as if they returned a string or an integer. You can either assign the return object to something, or use the return object outright.
If you have a function that returns a "DataTable" for example, you could do the following:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DataTable mydatatable = SomeClass.SomeFunctionThatReturnsDataTable();
  2.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. MessageBox.Show("Returns "+SomeClass.SomeFunctionThatReturnsDataTable().Rows.Count.ToString()+" rows");
  2.
