Get the value of server control in usercontrol

Hi,

I have a Adduser.ascx control which contains textboxes and a button control and i m using this control in user.aspx page and master.master is the parent of user.aspx page. The problem is that when i entered data into the textbox's of usercontrol and click on the save button of usercontrol page then its postback and when we go to the save button event it does not show any data into the textboxes. I just need to save the information of textbox. Would you please tell me how can do this.

You will need to use the FindControl method of the page to find the textbox control. Create a new textbox control programmatically in the Save button click event and assign the properties of the textbox to your new textbox.

TextBox newTextBox = (TextBox)Page.FindControl("nameoftextbox");
