What is the use of pointer control in .NET framework
Do you have another name for this? Or where did you hear about this "pointer control in .NET" thing?

I assume you mean the Pointer in the Toolbox in Visual Studio?

It just escapes the current tool you are adding.
e.g. select button from toolbox, change your mind, so hit Pointer.
