C# Issue with FileNet DoPrint functionality

I am taking VB6 code and translating it into C# code. And the last item that I am struggling with is the ability to "print" via code different pdf documents via the filenet object .DoPrint. The logic from VB6 and what I am doing in the C# code is first I set the printer to that of my adobe pdf (this is so its saved to a file location and not sent to the printer for emailing to users). Second, I set the Job Name of the registry entry for FileNet to that of the document I am currently trying to "print". Finally, I use the DoPrint logic. The first document works perfectly, but any document after that doesn't set off the DoPrint logic. It IS returning a valid document (i can see the number of pages in the document, etc). Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I am pulling out the few remaining hairs on my head trying to sort this issue out.

Thanks
