Dynamically set special fields in Crystal Report

Hi all,

Could somebody tell me how to set the content (text) of a special field in a not incorporated report (Crystal Report) using Visula Studio 2005 ?

I want to dynamically (at run time) write in special fields such as "File author", "Report comments" and others.

Thank you in advance.

You can take some Parameter fields while designing the report.......then you can send your dynamically set Text to this parameter fields.......

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.
  2. Dim Comp_Name As String="ABC Industry"
  3. Dim Comp_Address As String="Kolkata"
  4. Dim oRpt As New CrystalReport1
  5. oRpt.SetParameterValue("CompName ", Comp_Name)
  6.
  7. oRpt.SetParameterValue("CompAddress", Comp_Address)
  8.
here CompName and CompAddress are the parameter name set in the crystal report....
