Stored procedure

Hi all,

I would like to add some records into a database table using stored procedure.

I am using SQL SERVER.. C#.NET.. also i am doing the coding in 3 tier architecture...

That all looks ok I guess, what is the problem?

Also is this valid:
cmd.parameters.add("@val1",sqldbtype.int).value = 1

I have always done it:
cmd.Parameters.Add("@val1", SqlDbType.Int);
cmd.Parameters["@val1"].Value = 1;
