Is there a way to get a form designer to clean itself up?

I've needed to make changes to an app, such as getting rid of old datasets. The problem is, once I get rid of the dataset, the form designer complains that the dataset is not a member of the app.

is there anything in vb.net that causes a form designer to clean itself up?

You .
Just go to where it says the error is an remove the code.
Or learn to remove the object in a mannor that it removes all references to itself

I am trying to learn the latter to avoid the headaches of the former.

Thanks for nothing, Platter.

To all who may come accross this problem...

Here is a good article on MSDN...

Thanks for nothing, Platter.
No thank YOU, another person learns to stop being a lazy pile and do their own leg work.
The more people that do that there are, the less dumb questions I get to answer.

Although I don't see what an article for changing connection strings has to do with getting rid of old DataSet references in designer code.
(PS: That subject of connection strings has been answered dozens of times here in the forum)

Like I said,

thanks for nothing.

Next time, just don't answer the question instead of venting your spleen at someone asking a question.

There is no need to be rude.

I don't know what kind of problem you've had with other folks around here, but you had absolutely no reason to get nasty with me.
