ASP.NET TransactionScope.. Access Denied!!

16
Hello

I am having problems with the transactionscope that is around alot of the code
I have it working fine on our local machines and our Dev server, but when we put it on our live server we get this error:

"Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))"

The SQL 2005 DB is on the same server, and there is no firewall running and I have set all the setting the same in component services!

I know when the DB is on a different server you need to add MSDTC.exe as an exception through the firewall but there is no firewall running so this shouldn't make any difference.

Anyone got any ideas as to what could be going wrong?

Thanks

Bex

PS... all works fine wen Enlist = false so its not a problem with the database... Anyone?

I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere! I know its got to be something to do with the permissions set up, but don't know where to start!

Thanx

Aside from the fact that you are basically using three separate OS, there is a known bug for what you describe in going from XP to W3K. But as your dev server is W3K this may rule it out.
