Customized Setup [to add our/custom dialog within setup]

hi all,

i am working with Desktop application, and trying to create a setup project.

i finalized my application and now creating the setup for that application.

what i need to do is, with in setup dialog boxes, i have to add my custom form which will ask for DB Details like DBServer name, User Name, Password, name of Database and SQL Server Selection etc.,

So, Besides my main application, i also added a Class Library Project with an Installer Class. I opened a new form [which i expect tobe my custom dialog box in within setup steps] in BeforeInstall event. i invoke this form which would ask user about above DB Details.

After Successfully creating these two project [main application and Installer Class]

i created a setup project, added the primary output of application and in the custom action view, i added the Installer Class Dll.

here is the problem: when i try to run the Setup created, the form which i created in the installer class, is comming at the end of installation. i want it tobe the part of initial Setup dialogboxes steps.

can any body help me.. i did a loooots of workaround for this solution over codeproject but didnt find any suitable solution..

please help me...

thanx in advance./.

I've never done what you are doing, but my assumption is that code executes in the order that it is presented. Of course certain processes will need to occur before the form is installed, otherwise the setup will never run. HTH.
