MDI Forms in C#

I am trying to open another MDI Child form (that is not currently open) from
within another MDI Child. There is a "Next" button that should navigate to
the next form in the series, and I cannot get this to work. With VB6, it
would have been simple, but C# is completely different.

Below is the code that I am using. its gives me "is not a MDI Container"

TruckReport truckreport = TruckReport.GetChildInstance();
truckreport.MdiParent = this;
truckreport.WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized;
truckreport.Show();

Any help would be great

Look for a property of truckreport IsMdiContainer and set it to true.
(can be done in design mode if you wish...makes it cleaner)

If you want a simpler style, forms can be added to each other in the same way controls are added.
Without having to declare anything a MDI parent/child
