Button vs TextBox Height

3
Does anybody know why when i change the form <!DOCTYPE to xhtml the height
for textbox and button do not match anymore in the browser but it works fine when i'm using

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">

<asp:TextBox ID='txtbox' runat="server" Text="test" height="19px"></asp:TextBox>

vs

<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Button" Height="19px" />
