Office 2003 standard edition upgrade

In Aug 2007, I purchased Office 2003 Standard Edition because I was not able
to get into Excel. When I purchased my PC three years ago, it came with
Office 2003 trial. After the trial expired, I didn't think I would need it
so I deleted it. Is there a way to reinstall the original version so that
the Upgrade will run properly. I am able to open all programs except Excel.
Why? I get an error message saying it is on a network resource that is not
available.
