how to set page size

Hello
I have a gridview and i want after every five records to move to another page.
I have set the pagesize to 5.
But nothing happens.
Please let me know what coding should i do.

if u r developing web application in 2.0 ASP.NET then there is a option fr pagesize in propert window of gridview jst set it to 5....

Hi,

Assuming that you have set the pagesize to 5.
In your datagrid's PageIndexChanged event you set the new page. here's is the code. lets say the name of your datagrid is datagrid1.

private void DataGrid1_PageIndexChanged(object source, System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridPageChangedEvent Args e)
{
// Move to Next Page.
DataGrid1.CurrentPageIndex = e.NewPageIndex;

//refresh the datagrid
this.DataGrid1.DataSource=DS //dataset
DataGrid1.DataBind();
}
