Creating new user settings at runtime

hi
i am writing an application in C# where i have to create a settings file everytime a new user starts using ...( i will be using username / password for my app to check if he was logged before in a system ). visual studio has a settings page which is good..but iam planning to use it to store default settings in "Application" scope ..

when a new user logs in ... a new settings profile which has all default values should be created..there after if it changes it will save in his own profile..

how can i do something like this ?

first time login :
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Settings s = new Settings();
  2. s = myProgram.Properties.Default;
  3. s.SaveAs("newuser.xml");
MSDN has instructions on how to create settings in designer and accessing them at runtime.. but i couldnt find how to create new instance of default settings and save them with a different name at runtime..

please point me in the right direction..
Thank you
