Sending mail from outlook express

I can receive on outlook express but am having difficulty sending all of a
sudden. The mail does not send until I close the programme and then seems to?

I have been having similar problems. They were intermittant at first
but have become chronic this past couple of weeks. The mail seems to
be sent out at irregular intervals or upon booting up or turning off
the Dell E1505 lap top. Outlook Express is my primarly e-mail so this
is annoying. I receive e-mails just fine, have a good internet
connection and have made no deliberate changes. Settings are correct
accourding to my ISP. I have used Outlook for almost 1-1/2 years
without any problems until recently. It would be nice to know how to
get it working normally again.

Problem may be your antivirus and/or antispam software, as most of these scan
outgoing messages during sending. Try disabling scanning of outgoing
messages temporarily and see if the issue goes away.

Also, this newsgroup is for .NET development. You may want to try
re-posting your question in a more appropriate newsgroup.
