Incorrect Sytax Error

I have a script file that contains the name of a stored procedure, its parameters and values. When I run it in VB2005 code against SQL Express 2005 database, it gives me the error Incorrect Syntax near 'StoredProcedureName'. But when i copy the script and run it in the Server Management Stuido, it works. Any help please!!!!
