How to access Hidden variable from one user control in other

390 Expert 256MB
Hi,

My page NewApplication.aspx consists of two user controls.one is Leftnavigation.ascx and otehr is AppDetails .ascx.

I have one hidden variable "Test" in leftnavigation.ascx .I want to access the value of that hidden variable in my AppDetails.ascx page.

Is it possible to do that?If yes please let me know how to do that.

Actually My problem is I have to give one confirm messgae box to the user when he clicks one link on the leftnavigation .ascx page.Depending on what he click I will display the AppDetail.ascx page Like if he clicks yes AppDetail will contain soem controls if know then some other.

That's why I am planning to have a hidden variable.

How to do that with public or non hidden variable

For storing variables
Hidden variable access many becomes out of scope.
so better use Cookie or Session
e.g
Session["optionSelected"] = e.value;

on other page get this value.
