can't change fonts

recently upgraded to MSxp professional 03 and now I can't change the fonts or
the color in outlook. Also, everytime I want to start a new e-mail I get the
following message.
"One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:
1) your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page, or
2) you have bolocked a publisher of one of the controls.

As a result, the page may not display correctly.

Any suggetions on how to fix the problem.
