form to update spreadsheet

daJunkCollector
I have written a primitive web app in Visual Studio 2005. You may view the page at http://www.dajunkyard.com/USGtestserver. You will notice a form in the middle of the page.

My goal is to have the user fill out the form, click the submit button and have the fields populate an excel spreadsheet (that my boss can refer to and place the orders manually).

A Perfect Alternative:
I have been tinkering with some ideas. If the form submitted to a database, I could create a page with a gridview that my boss could use.

The Problem:
I am having trouble finding a tutorial on how to take the users input and populate an excel sheet or database, as a result of the user hitting the submit button.

If someone could provide a link to a tutorial or offer help/suggestions/guidance/logic I would really really appreciate it.

I have been scouring the internet for some time now with no success.

Thanks again.
