mathematical calculation inside the gridview

hi i work on Asp.net ,C#. i'm a fresher. i need u'r help.

i have grid as follows.....
sub s1 s2 s3 s4 s5 subTotal
m1 50 40 60 40 50 240
e1 60 60 80 50 50 300
t1 50 60 70 60 40 280
g1 60 40 50 80 70 300
sTot -- -- -- -- -- --

i have a student report as above. i have displayed the subtotal by adding all marks (s1+s2+...s5)

now the task is to display the semtotal by adding all marks(markwise) and is to display in the row sTot (m1+e1+t1+g1).

note: the no. of rows and columns r not fixed as above. some times it may varry.. the above shown grid is a model..i need to add the values as i said above and display it in the another row or footer.

i need ur help...help me with detail c# code...
