Printing to a Dot Matrix printer using C# .NET

Hello,

I am trying to print a System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument to a dot matrix printer using C# .NET. I have created an instance of the PrintDocument and create a event handler for the PrintPage property of the PrintDocument.

PrintDocument document = new PrintDocument();
document.PrintPage += new PrintPageEventHandler(pd_PrintInvoicePage);
document.Print();

However, when I try to print to the dot matrix printer the printer carriage moves alittle bit, but nothing is printing. If I open up a word document and and type some random text the dot matrix printer prints, but will not successfully print the PrintDocument that I have created. I created a little class that sends raw data to the printer and the printer prints properly, however it will not print the PrintDocument. Any suggestions as to how to correct my problem? Thanks.
