Web Multithreading and accessing objects..

Hi there

I'm attempting to access an object from a new thread (in this case a messagebox - not the windows variety but a web based one).

Development in VS2005 with .NET 2.0 on Server 2000 using VB

When in the new thread the code runs straight past the msgbox.alert event without throwing any errors. Net result, (no pun) it wll go the the next exit sub line but not display the messagebox!

I'm sure that I need to load something before the thread.start event so that the messagebox object can be 'seen' from the new thread - the MSDN documentation is not proving very helpful!

Help!

I have found a way round this! Instead of calling msgbox.alert in the new thread call Session("ErrorCode") = "The error message to display" on the new thread, then reference it back at the old thread msgbox.alert(Session("ErrorCode")).
