Okay,
I've got a small program that I'm making in VB.net and I've got a problem.
I'm in a basic form with tabs and buttons (form2)
Now I click a button to go into (form5) which is a SQL data pulling form.
Well, because I'm pulling remotely and it takes a min to load I want to display a progress bar to show the end user that something is happening.
How do I do that?
I've gotten a splashscreen working fine complete with a progress bar and text loading bar.... but for some reason I can't get it to display when I hit "SQL Test" button (form5). I've tried some simple IF statements and I can't get anything working.
Well, let me say this; I've gotten the progress bar to show and animate but not until after the SQL form is displayed..... and the progress bar is continously going, and never stops, even after the SQL form is closed and I'm back to Form2. Any thoughts on a hack/work around ?
Thank you,
Daniel
