C# MDI Child in Seperate Thread

Am relatively new to C#. SO please bear with me.

I have an MDI application. I would like to start up a thread for each child window as it is instantiated. I sucessfully have the thread up and running. I can also get the child window in the main thread.

I attempted to pass the parent window by reference to the thread. However, a run-time error appears to not permit accessing the parent window data from the thread.

Essentially, I would like each thread to modify a thread-specific form without having to go back through the MDI parent.

I would appreciate any advice, including alternative approaches.

Thanks, in advance, for any help you provide....
