C#-ASP: How to send data to LPT1 on server?

Hello,

I have a label printer connected to LPT1 on the server where IIS and the ASPX/C# code is running.

From the web application I need to send data to the printer. Preferably directly, mimicking the command line "type label.prt > lpt1:" as this is what I have working now, after tuning and altering the raw print data (it is really basic, less than 500 bytes data, close to clear text, per label).

Is there any way to do this?

Please, any help, pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
