i want / / to be always there in the textbox in vb.net so that the user can just write the date, month , and the year. Please help. it is really urgent

there is an Activex control which can be used for your work.......
this is Microsoft Mask Edit Control.....

add this control to your toolbox.........

1.Set the PromptChar property to.............. "_"[UnderScore sign]
2.Set the Mask property to.................... ##/##/####

Now your control is ready to take input as you desire.......

whenever you want to read the text of the control write the following code................
Dim myDate as Date=myMaskEditControl.CtlText

Why is it inactive in my mobile application form??? please help

it works fine only for windows application. what i wanted was to use in smart device application form. i downloaded the msmask32.ocx and it appear in toolbox as inactive. i can't drag and drop it in my form, but for windows application, i checked it , it works fine.
