Thread-safe sending to a static Form?

Thank you, however, I am really more wondering about how to send the data. Events? Something else? And how to design it.

I suspect a globally-available static class with static variables might be the easiest, but that would be distinctly VB-esque :)

Depends on when you want to act on it. If its time dependent, or after something happens, then an event would be best. If you will be accessing the data at random, it should be passed to the function or used as a static object. If you pull the data often you might want to rework your code so that it doesnt have to pull it as often.

Edit: If you could clarify the data you want to send (I understand its a string, but what does the string represent?) and when/how you will interact with the data.
