Can someone help me with DirectCast in C#?

Ok, since I found how to have it so the user may select a textbox and do what ever in it if their is multi able. I just need help on using the function!

In the FormView1 What do I place their for my function?

TextBox t = (TextBox)FormView1.FindControl("DataTextBox");

No it really doesn't help...

Does anyone on this forum know what the heck I place in the FormView1?

The name of the textbox, the form itself what?
I have been playing around with that one area and its a pain!
