Slow UI updation problem

I am using 400 text box in my Form. Updating Text property of all the 400 Text boxes in the Form takes more than 30 milliseconds. Is there any way to reduce this time in c# .net.

for (int i = 0; i < 400; i++)

There is a simple way - don't have 400 textboxes in one form. Why do you need so many?

I think the first step in finding a solution is admitting you have a problem.
Say it with me now "Hi, my name is _____, and I'm addicted to textboxes"
I mean wow there. How could you possibly A) find a place to put them and B) find unique pieces of data for 400 textboxes?
I mean the old VB used to have a limit of no more then 255 controls per page or something.

Your UI is slow to update because you have 400 controls! And you're upset that it takes a few miliseconds??
