use "DataNavigateUrlFormatString" in the HyperlinkColumn..

eg:

<asp:HyperLinkColumn DataNavigateUrlField="ID" DataNavigateUrlFormatString="frmGroupDetails.aspx? id={0}" DataTextField="Site Name" SortExpression="Site Name" HeaderText="SiteName" DataTextFormatString="<span style='text-decoration:none;'>{0}</span>"> </asp:HyperLinkColumn>
