UDDI Registry?

Hello, I have two related questions:

1. Our company hosts a couple Web services that are public, and free to use
for anybody (http://DlhSoft.com/WebServices/NewsService.asmx and
http://DlhSoft.com/WebServices/ProductsService.asmx).

However we are unable to find the Microsoft's public UDDI registry (I found
in a few search engines that Microsoft had such public UDDI registry at
http://uddi.microsoft.com, but this opens a page about UDDI services
available in Windows Server 2003).

Can someone show some light about what is Microsoft's vision about UDDI
services hosted by them? Do they host such UDDI registry anymore? How can we
register with out services there?

2. Considering that the first question will find its answer, how can someone
use the Microsoft's UDDI registry to search for a Web service? Or, even more
general, where is the best for somebody (a developer) to search for a Web
service?

For example, in the near future, I will need to find a currency converter
Web service that I could use in a .NET application. Do you have an URL where
I could start this search?

PS: Do you know such currency converter Web service? (Preferably free, and
hosted by a large and/or powerful banking company, that I could trust). -
Note, I don't want to abuse. Please ignore my PS here if you think I've asked
too many questions. But I guess the first two (1 and 2) questions are
legitimate.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sorin,

As for the UDDI registry, I have checked the site you mentioned below:

http://uddi.microsoft.com

it seems it will redirect you to the windows server UDDI service's page.
Since I'm not familiar on this service, I have contacted some UDDI service
related engineers and they have confirmed that the public UDDI service of
Microsoft has been closed. And here is an article explain this:
