Pls help ,
i'm new to .net . i installed asp.net 1.1, it was working fine . the next day when i tried to open the page i created i got the msg :
"web application component isnt installed on visual studio.net2003"
and when i tried opening a new project i got the msg :
" version mismatch asp.net , saying that the installed version shud be upgraded to 1.1"
i 'hv already reinstalled the entire thing again , more than once . and i do not hv the version .net 1.0 , on the pc , the only one m using is 1.1 ,
what do i do , i really hv some work and need to get started .. .

it might be u havent configure ur IIS, alos create your Virtual Directory.
one thing u also do, 1st format ur OS and then again installe ur VS1.1, coz due to install again and again VS1.1 on same OS without formating the system it may cause such problem, so if u can format ur system, u try to do it and do all work as above i told.

Thx a ton , well I chkd with the IIS , its fine , . . but can you pls tell me how to create the virtual directory .
also am not wanting to reformat ,coz i hv java n oracle installed as well , and i dont think i'd be able to handle any formatting with them , is there any other alternative .
formatting is : the entire system , or just that particular drive ?
