the problem is I need to create a project for familly tree that won't require internet . But I nee to have some menus, Database , querries ro database that i will use to dinamically fill in some forms, etc. The main purpose is to buld CD that will be given to family members and they will navigate easily trought all family tree to see their ancestors. And because the project should not require internet I decide to do it as windows application. Do you know some other way to use web application , because I don't get it how it can be web application without net. But I strongly wish my project to have frandly interface and because of that I asked if someoone know if there is some way to use css file for it.

You can probably try with an HTML page with some flash,Java scripts to achieve this requirement. As a feasible solution for this maximum you can think of your data in XML and XSL to render it.
