Windows Handle in Google Earth (C#)

I need to get the dimensions of the Google Earth render window and I know squat about Window Handles. I've been sniffing around and I'm geting the idea that you can do lots of fun things with handles, that you can take over other apps. Is this true?

Anyway, can someone help me with getting the dimensions of GE render window. The API provides:

IApplicationGE::GetRenderHwnd ( [out, retval] OLE_HANDLE * hwnd )

Parameters:
hwnd Output window handle for render window.

Return values:
S_OK Succesfully retrieved window handle.
(other) Appropriate error code.

I have no clue what it means and what I can do with it. Working across apps is new to me.

Cheers - Gj
