ASP.NET: deploy the application to remote server

Hi all,
I've created a asp.net web application and now I need to host it in my hosting provider's server.

to the best of my knowledge Its sufficient enough if i am uploading only these files to the web server htdocs dir(in my case).
  • bin dir
  • .html(s)
  • .aspx(s)
  • web.config
  • and images,css,js files
Correct me here If it is not.

Now the problem is getting in, actually my server should support asp.net(Framework1.1). but only thing I can do i can access .html files but NOT the .aspx files.

what might be the reason for this. additionally when i call for .aspx files using the URL its calling browser default user name password prompt.I tried my FTP username/pwd on it but no luck.

Hope you may help me to solve this.

Thanks!
