Is anyone able to explain how thebeerhouse SiteProvider Class works?

Thanks for responding. That's the first response I've had in seven postings :)

I have the book which accompanies thebeerhouse SK but it is aimed at advanced developers and so there is no mention of how the Type.GetType - from web.config provider works. Or even what it does?

My original problem was related to passing data between layers, which I seem to have cracked now. But I'm still curious about getting a provider tpye from web.config?
