Convert to HTML escape char API

Hi All,

I am looking for an API that accepts a string and converts the characters into their corresponding escape char (i.e. < into < & into &). Anyone who have used an API with such functionality?

Thank you!

Regards,

Mickey

.NET has it built in to the URI object (I think).
They have Escape(string) and UnEscape(String)
