Create VB file programatically

I have a program that I want to read and compare the contents of 2 vb.net files, and wherever the line :
str="XX" & "YY" & "ZZ"
is appeared that I have to change in following format:
str="XX" & _
"YY" & _
"ZZ"

and the entire modified file have to save as with different vb file.
how to generate this logic in vb.net?

The first thing to do when writing any program is start off with a list of steps. Can you write down a numbered list of steps to go through to accomplish your goals? Feel free to post them if you would like them to be reviewed.

You just want to compare line by line in those two vb files or you want to compare vb command in those files?
If you just want to compare line by line, it's simple.
If you want to compare commands, you should create a parser to parse the code of those files in order to compare them.

cheers.
