Paste ArrayList from Clipboard

Hi, I am using a C#.Net 2 Win Application. I have copied items from a ListView to Clipboard using arraylist. But when I retrive that arralist, it shows only "System.Collection.ArrayList"....! The Code shows below...

ArrayList dataObjects = new System.Collections.ArrayList();
IDataObject clipboardData = Clipboard.GetDataObject();
string[] formats = clipboardData.GetFormats();
for (int i = 0; i < formats.Length; i++)
{
dataObjects.Add(Clipboard.GetDataObject().GetData( formats[i]));

}

but dataObject[0] gives "System.Collections.ArrayList"......please help me how get the real strings from the arraylist?

This suggests that your array is empty and you have successfully populated it,

As far I as see, your code returned an arraylist to objectarraylist[0]. So you can retrieve string from that arraylist if you know it's member's type.
