an error in declaring the session variables in ASP 2.0

The error that had generated is the given below

System.Web.HttpException: Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. what is the problem that occured here. I had set enableSessionState in the webconfig file to true, but this time too i get the same error as above, how can i sove this problem?

there is no necessity to set it in webconfig file.
when u r calling web page from one page u have to initialise the session
when u call the next page the session will bw available to u without any exception.
in case if u r calling from a page wer u have not initialised the session with the same session name then the excepiton occurs
