The non-generic type error

35
i got these errors when i want to compile my project :

private List<CIF.Business.Northwind.OrdersItem> ConvertListToBusiness (List<CIF.Data.Northwind.OrdersItem> list)

{
CIF.Data.Northwind.OrdersItem ordersItem1;
List<CIF.Business.Northwind.OrdersItem> list1 = new List<CIF.Business.Northwind.OrdersItem> ();
List<CIF.Business.Northwind.OrdersItem>.Enumerator <CIF.Data.Northwind.OrdersItem> enumerator1 = list.GetEnumerator();
try
{
while (enumerator1.MoveNext ())
{
ordersItem1 = enumerator1.Current;
list1.Add (this.ConvertItemToBusiness (ordersItem1));
}
}
finally
{
((IDisposable) & (enumerator1)).Dispose ();
}
return list1;
}

Error 1 The non-generic type 'System.Collections.Generic.List<T>.Enumerator' cannot be used with type arguments

Error 2 'System.IDisposable' is a 'type' but is used like a 'variable'

Can anyone help to resolve these tow errors

Using Visual studio

Thanks

For these type of errors where you don't know what is wrong it is best to use debugging - whether VS or code. Looks like error 1 relates to line "enumerator1 = list.GetEnumerator();" and error 2 to "((IDisposable) & (enumerator1)).Dispose ();". HTH.
