C# Serialization of UI in an application

I know that you can save the toolbars and menus to a config file using the
built-in method.

ToolStripManager.SaveSettings(this);

In the past I have used BinaryFormatter.Serialize() to serialize to save
settings to a disk file. I need to serialize all the ToolStripManger
settings to a binary disk file in the app directory not a config file. Is
this possible?

Thanks,
Mark
