File, Folder search in ASP.net or C#.net

for the My DMS Project I want to make a search option in DMS system. for that any facility available in ASP.net or C#.net?

Hai,

I am also working on DMS (Document Managemet System) , here we are searching from the database. We actually store the relative path in the db and search the db directly and display the files which meet the criteria.

You can also find the files recursively through the folders using file.exists function.
